APPLICATIONS
a |
MC2008/1392: Veolia, Whitewall Road, Medway City Estate: Waste transfer and recovery facility capable of managing 250,000 tonnes pa of municipal, industrial and commercial waste with associated RCV parking area, 2 new weighbridges and weighbridge office, new re-fuelling facility and new vehicle wash bay
After discussion it was agreed to respond as follows:
Frindsbury Extra Parish Council has no objection in principle to this application. There is however some concern that the number of vehicle movements will almost double. The Parish Council would like a condition imposed that all vehicles moving processed waste from the site are forbidden to proceed on their journey onwards by way of Frindsbury Hill and that vehicles bringing waste to the site do not approach the site via Frindsbury Hill unless it is unavoidable.
