APPLICATIONS
a |
MC2007/0170: 29 Galleon Way, Lower Upnor
After discussion, it was proposed by Cllr Moore, seconded by Cllr Etheridge and agreed the Council object as follows:
Frindsbury Extra Parish Council objects to this application. The comments of objection to a similar planning application on this site in 2007 (MC2007/1793) are reiterated:
It is considered the proposed front elevation, which would be a precedent on this estate, would be detrimental to the street scene. The creation of a brick wall on the boundary with the next door neighbour on what is at present an open frontage may well be some loss of amenity to the neighbour.
The Parish Council is also concerned at the loss of parking provision for one vehicle. Parking is a problem on this estate and complaints about this are received regularly by both the Parish Council and the Upnor Residents' Association
