The proposed front extension is considered an imposing form of development
upon both the local street scene and the applicant's property, due to
scale, mass and projection in a street scene consisting of mainly modest
single storey front projections or properties with occasional unassuming
bay windows. As a result the proposed development is in conflict with
Policy QL1 of the Kent and Medway Structure Plan 2006 and Policy BNE1
of the Medway Local Plan 2003.
